OUR OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently seeking a Material Handler to join our team!

We have two position available for 32-40 hours/week, Monday to Friday. This position will have a start time of 6AM.

  • Accurately pick items as displayed on mobile devices and place them into shipping packages.
  • Conduct quality control checks on orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Stock shelves, organize inventories, and set up the work area.
  • Stack order bundles into shipping containers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Moderate physical effort is required, with manual dexterity necessary for job duties. Employees must be capable of comfortably lifting 20-40 pounds throughout the day.
  • Employees may lift, lower, and carry products up to a maximum of 50 pounds by hand and may push or pull manual pallet jacks.
  • Work is conducted in a warehouse environment; employees must adhere to safe work procedures and policies.
  • Ability to walk and stand for up to 8 hours per day.

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

    • Previous experience in a warehouse or production line is an asset.
    • Previous experience operating a forklift with a valid forklift license an asset, however training/certification can be provided.
    • Physically fit; the role involves medium lifting (up to 25 lbs) and requires reaching, handling, stooping, and bending.
    • Strong arithmetic skills, including manual addition, multiplication, and subtraction.
    • Neat and legible writing and printing skills.
    • Ability to handle products quickly and efficiently.
    • Availability to work part-time or full-time (32-40 hours/week) with shifts scheduled between Monday and Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (8-hour shifts); overtime or occasional Saturday shifts may be required.
    • A team player, committed to collaborating with coworkers.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and concisely.
    • Motivated, flexible, and confident individual who can meet deadlines and adapt to changing tasks.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and meet production deadlines without compromising safety and accuracy.
    • Pleasant, professional, and courteous communication skills.
    • CSA-approved steel-toed work shoes are mandatory in the warehouse; it is the responsibility of the employee to provide these at the time of hire.
